Alamogordo is home to a variety of activities appealing to a diverse group of individuals. Our mild climate makes it possible to enjoy outdoor activities year-round. Local attractions host events throughout the year, and organizations--including the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce--sponsor annual activities welcoming participation from local residents as well as attracting visitors from out of town. Some of the major local events sponsored by the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce include: the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Stealth Classic Softball Tournament, the Cottonwood Arts & Crafts Festival, White Sands Balloon Invitational and Annual Christmas Parade.
